Dance group Jollity Bollywood will light up the stage with various Indian dance forms. Children from Cherry Crescent Prescent and Amharic Saturday School sing familiar songs. Tess Do gets everyone singing to explore the history of one of these songs, Frère Jacques. Multilingual Storytellers Modyiyer will captivate everyone with an interactive storytime.

Workshop 1

Create & Explore: An Interactive Adventure with Crocodile và Unicorn
Dive into the magical world of the Crocodile và Unicorn storybook characters with a two-part workshop! Join us for a creative and immersive session, led by artist, Viet-My Bui, and language teacher, Thea Ho. Come and explore beautiful languages from our local community. Hands-on fun for everyone!

Workshop 2

Flag Making: The Language of Place
What’s special and important about where you live? Tell us in your language. Using upcycled materials, artist, Sonia Zymantas, will guide you to design and cut stencils to paint a word in your language. This workshop uses craft knives. Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

Bluestone Toy Library

Toy Libraries are good for the planet, your budget and making friends! Bluestone Toy Library has toys for children aged 0-8. Come and explore our collection which includes construction, STEM, musical, creative and pretend play, active and outdoor play and more! Our members speak many languages and many of our staff and volunteers are bilingual! Come along to our stay and play sessions and play in your language!
